I'd not overcall with this combination of sub-minimum overall strength and a terrible suit.
Kind regards,

I think my suit is way too horrible to bid it.

Unfortunately all appropriate adjectives I can come up with would probably require censorship by the mods. And since I have repeatedly expressed my displeasure for this, I won't tempt them.
I constantly try and "Esc-wq!" to finish and post webforum replies.

Your hand has a ton of playing strength opposite a fit. Random 8 counts with 4 hearts could easily produce a game, and any hand with 5 hearts you want to be in there. Your hand has no playing strength if it's a misfit, and a real danger of going for a number.

I would pass and hope for 1S p 1N p 2C X (I can dream can't I?) where it's safer to get in.

No need to bid on this one. Unless it comes back to you in 5, you can always butt-in later without distorting your shape/strength.

So, if the auction is: 1-P-2-P; 4-? you're entering the auction?

I don't like 2. But, I'm not confident that I will be able to act later, or that I'll even want to act later.

Edit: added "not".

IMO risky = 10, foollhardy = 9, brave = 8, insane = 4

IMO _P = 10, 2 = 7, 2 = 4

It would be more interesting at pairs at green, but at teams at red, the suit is a bit thin for enterprize. I asume that overcalls are wide-ranging. I normally play that a 2 overcall would be intermediate, so that option would not be avaiable..

If that auction happens, I'm glad I kept my mouth shut. They're about to go down on 5/6 on bad breaks

Yes, it should have been posted in the Water Cooler so that we could have used appropriate adjectives.

Normally I call these calls:

dumm, erfolglos, idiotisch, peinlich, lächerlich, krass, dämlich, voll hohl, absurd, hyperaktiv, ungewöhnlich,

if it had worked:

Inspiriert, aggressiv, kämpferisch, visionär, jugendlich, aktiv, erfolgreich, wunderbar, vorausschauend,

Your translation abilties are far better then mine and luckily you do understand both languages.
Kind Regards

Roland
