4) Your bid

a) Imps vul vs nv
4H=P=P=X
P=?
AQ7=T6=AQT53=Q97

Soloway: Pass, "my pd doubled for penalties, I have a zillion, life is good"
Cohen: Pass, "According to the law the had 10 hearts we have 9 diamonds, no good to bid at the 5 level"
Meckstroth: 5d, "I think I can make this"
My bid: 5d

b*) IMPS NONE VUL
1C=P=?
K93=653=A85=A543

Soloway: 3c limit bid very popular in the 40's
Cohen: 1 spade "according to the law, they have at least 2 hearts, we have at least 8 clubs if pd has 4 spades we have 7 they may have 7 hearts so we can win 1 spade but if we have clubs and they have diamonds then they may have 8 diamonds and we have 2 clubs BUFFER OVERFLOW"
Meckstroth: 2NT invitational
Me: 2NT Invitational

Have enuf trouble remembering my own agreements.....so here is what I would bid with a pick-up pard of decent calibre.

a) 4S
:lol: 1D with the proviso that while 2NT (11-12 hcp) is my conventional agreement bid with my regular pards, I don't want a D lead if we are in NT and will raise 1M by pard to 2 and convert his 2NT game try to 3NT.
