4♠ looks correct, partner should bid 5♦, they can see the bad trump break and force coming in spades, but 4♥ may well not make, I can't find the pass though

Clearly North - they should revert to the 1st bid suit in this instance since both hands have longer ♦ than ♠

Partner, I thought the 5-2 would play better )no worse than 1 trick less) than the 6-3, especially with a likely 5-1 break of opp s trumps.
Your bidding is normal. Note that they may make 4H if they guess to drop your sg K (not too likely, though).
