I recently rejoined BBO on my phone. On several occasions I have had players that deliberately hold up the game. As host for some reason I cannot remove them.
All they are achieving is spoiling the game for genuine players.
Another gripe is people removing me, when I have just arrived at a table. I have a profile, can adopt to other players conventions and prefer strong 2s and weak 3s

...and they're waiting for their partner, who just lost connection, to come back. (Yes, I know, they should set the table for "permission to sit", but everyone's here, we all are ready, there aren't going to be any disconnects, right?)
I don't know why you can't boot players, assuming you're the host. Actually now that I think about it, I think there's a "new user" lockdown where there are a few things you can't do until you have enough logins to have a good feel for what's "proper behaviour". Maybe you're caught in that?

Yes, that's the reason. You have to be a member for 2 weeks and have at least 100 logins.
