After parners bud of 1 Nt-15-17 points what is the correct order or responding with a hand of 10 points with 4 spades and 5 hearts?

Smolen to show GF with 4M and 5 in the other major.

Start with 2C Stayman and follow up with a jump

in your shorter major if a fit is not found.

You can show 4M and 5 other major

while making the stronger hand declare.

Whilst Smolen is the correct convention to use, the sequence 1NT - 2(transfer to ) - 2 - 2 showing 5/4 is forcing for one round for many partnerships, so you can use this instead though Smolen is the expert's choice I guess...as the stronger hand declares every time.

That sequence depends on what area of the world you are in. Some places use it as 5h/4s F1, but in other places it's used as 5h/5s inv NF, so wouldn't be a good option compared to a Smolen sequence (or stayman followed by 3H over 2d if not playing Smolen).
