I twisted my leg a few weeks ago, so I decided that to distract myself (no orthopaedic pun intended), I would attempt to make a dealing machine using Google Sheets.
This turned out to be quite a nice beginner project. I needed to learn about a bunch of stuff that I hadn't used before.
Finally, I managed to generate a .lin file that BBO would A) import and B) allow me to upload onto a teaching table.
Given my luck, it was entirely unsurprising that the first hand I generated gave me 1 lousy Jack.
Here's the hand: How would you bid it

Here's what GIB made of it:

If East opens a strong NT, I would probably just punt 6NT as West 32-34 HCP combined, it is surely odds on. I'm not sure I'd be bothered to try and investigate the remote possibility of a major suit grand slam, even if it is good on these cards.

Looks as if I seriously underbid. Getting too cautious in my old age :(

I'm either out of practice, or just not in a competitive frame of mind

How do you value that hand?

I know sims dont mean much but I have 85% 6NT, 75% 6H and 65% 6S

The more I look and realise how out of practice I am I should have counted my losers for possible major slam and maybe got there :(
