When I sign into BBO and go into casual and click on people ,all my friends have gone . What is the matter and how do I rectify it?

I have the same issue...started yesterday. Cannot start a table with friends.

I have the same issue...started today 5/12/2020 at 3pm. Cannot start a relaxed table with friends.
One friend continually thought I was "offline" when I was ONLINE. In addition, that friend
appeared to be "offline" when in fact she was "ONline".
The only solution that partially worked was to start a teaching table. However, this prevented us
from compariing our results on each of the boards to other players... i.e. the whole point of duplicate.
Note, we tried many times - some of the friends could see saa3 was online, but usually I could not. very frustrating.
ALSO - note that one of our friends had to reload her BBO software today. Why was that ? Did some new version corrupt something ?

Appears to be 2 universes. Right now, one has 20,000+ players and one has 4000 players. We cannot find a way to get all 4 of us in the same universe.

I've been having the same problems since Monday (number of users yoyoing, there appearing to be 2 universes, not seeing friends who are online) and other friends we've tried to play with have too.
Also, one of them kept getting an error message when he tried to log on to say there were too many users or his internet may be down (which it wasn't!).
I had more success when I tried logging in with my mobile phone. Was this just luck or is there an issue with particular operating systems or browsers I wonder?
