Sorry I won't be able to finish by Sunday evening. Or rather, if you plan to, please take me out of the tournament, please.

We mean the next Sunday? Does it sound impossible? Original time is following Thursday or Friday anyway?

Even if we have one day per game, we must finish before May 7th -given a lot of people played around 8 matches, I am thinking of Sunday 30th or Monday 1st?

As I wrote earlier, I can't play any more matches until Saturday - that's why I played more than I liked (3 per day) last week. I will start catching up Saturday, and almost certainly finish earlier then the originally scheduled date (Thursday in 10 days), but definitely not by Sunday.
The easiest way to count losers is to line up the people who talk about loser count, and count them. -Kieran Dyke

Post 1 is from April 20th, early in the morning, my time zone. Probably the 19th in America but I don't count that. The process just needs some time to get going. I mean the idea is that we check BBO once a day. If I find the announcement in the early morning on April 20th and send out some challenges, someone will find them later in the day and if I get back to BBO 24 hrs later it's April 21st before I can play and post the first result. We have 17 challenges. If the first one comes in April 21st and we play on a one per day basis, the last one comes in May 7th. Or be it April 20th and May 6th, it doesn't matter. Anyway, that's why I was asking which weekend when you suggested finishing by "next" Sunday.

By the way the original announcement said:
'(2) Players are expected to play 5 to 7 matches per week based on a schedule provided.' (forum link)
With 17 matches from April 20 to April 30 we would be at about twice the announced speed!
Well okay, the challenges are relatively short and it should be fine to be a little on the fast side ...

I may have been mistaken. When the event started i received challenges by players way ahead of schedule. I played those and I actually liked it because I had sufficient time on those days. I hoped if I played them now, I could get the rest of the event a little more relaxed even if something happened to go wrong. I definitely did not want to send the message that I want the event to be sped up.

If the deadline is advanced to 30th or 1st, I wouldn't particularly like it, but I can probably make it.

This is my personal opinion, I'm not speaking for anyone else here and I have no idea how other players see this.

That is perfectly fine, take your time, just fast play is appreciated - since we give you bunch of flexibility about your schedule.

Copy paste from the first post: WE DID NOT CHANGE THE DEADLINE OR ANYTHING, THE GAMES ARE ONLY 10 BOARDS AND A LOT OF PEOPLE GO IN A FASTER SPEED THAN EXPECTED. SO TAKE THE MESSAGE ABOVE AS "IF YOU CAN DO PLAY FASTER, YOU CAN ACCEPT/SEND MORE MATCHES AND PLAY THEM EARLIER - MAYBE WE ALSO FINISH EARLIER".
