This hand came up last weekend in the Finnish Midsummer bridge festival, junior teams tournament - playing vs the Scottish U25 team, they have this auction to game - which would be your lead now. As for partners choices - double over 2D would be majors - others doubles, no specific agreement, in general should be lead directing, but we have not discussed them. So what would you lead and why?
Also some followup points
- I never seem to get these leads right -are the any good guidelines for these situations(Leading after 2N-to game auctions)
- Also, what is the standard for doubles here, and how light do you expect partner to be, if she makes one.

I think the question is what to lead against 4♥, not 4♠.

clear spade. nothing else has any appeal at all.

I try to find a save lead.
There is no reason to risk a club lead from this holding into the strong hand.
A heart lead could easily give away a trick.

Two suits to chose from, ♠J is the safest.

No double to 3♠ but it doesn't mean that partner can't have a good 4 card suit or even ok 5 card suit. It is too risky to do lead doubles with bad suits when opponents might make 3♠ easily in this biding. Based on that I would still chooses spade lead as the safest alternative. Dummy has denies spades so at least one of opponents hands doesn't have spade suit.

The club and heart holdings are both high risk with unclear reward. The dia and spade holdings are very similar but the big advantage of spade vs diamond is that we are sure we are not attacking the opps long suit.
