What are the continuations by opener after 2C/2X/dbl/P when playing that the dbl shows a double negative? How does opener handle a balanced hand with various holdings in the overcalled suit?

He bids 2NT.
Unless he doesn't have a stop... in which case I guess you have to make something up, or pass.

I guess I was looking for a slightly more intelligent answer, but thanks.
That kind of comment will get no answers at all.

I guess that means you agree with ahydra's post. My position is that if you aren't able to make an intelligent comment then don't make any comment.
I cannot think of any other way of answering what you asked than what Ahydra tried... and now I don't believe you are much of a judge of intelligence.

Well, I've got you pegged.
Me too. Since I consider redouble to be along the lines of making something up, there is no other answer.

I really like redouble but unfortunately it is illegal
Oops. I still can't find an answer other than to bid 2nt or create something. 4-card suits up the line but it has to be a 1 round force or 2nt and hope you land somewhere good.
