1. I tried 2♥. Partner had QJxxx Kx KJx Axx. They let me out for down 1.
2. I tried 3♥ (how did you know lol). Partner bid 4♠ with AT9xx Kxx QTxxx - and made it. I still think it's the right evaluation. And I agree with those who say double shouldn't really be support here, but at the table I knew it was.
3. Partner passed and it went all pass. I had QJTxx xx Qxx xxx and hearts were 5-2 so we went -140 instead of +170 or +420. Oops. Hard to blame him though.

Interesting. Is 3♦ right with that? My view is coloured by playing that the support double promises a decent weak NT (else pass), so I would pot game. Playing the dreaded mandatory support double, I would just bid 3♦, I guess.
