so we have:

1) passed
2) x to show minors and values.
3) bid 3d to show max pass not minimum.

looks like an easy easy pass but willing to listen and learn.

Pass and I really don't think this is close. We could easily go for 500 on a partscore deal.

I agree with Mike. What more do you want me to do here?

As a passed hand we showed both minors with responsive and raised partner's 2 to 3, which should imply a 5 card support since its usually a bad idea to go to the 3 level with 8 trumps, when they could let us play at the 2 level. Partner heard this and passed so I see no reason to overrule him.

Partner overcalled 1 opposite a passed hand, which doesn't show the world, I wouldn't be surprised if they can make game.

I presume this will get moved to the "rulings" section in due course.

3 was pretty dubious imo - partner could be 5332.

with the worst hand at the table:

managed to get in a responsive x
overbid by making a free raise to 3d
avoided getting doubled vulnerable
pushed the opps to a maybe poorly splitting 3 level contract
pass while p is still willing to make overcalls with less than fort knox

Man...i know a lot of players who wouldn't dbl 1 NT

Having doubled i would definetely pass 2

Having not passed 2 i would definetely PASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS now if i am ever planning to pass at some point :D
