Opponents play Precision, so 1H is 11-15. Love all, IMPs.

Do you bid 4S? This is the 2nd board of a 40 board match.

The 4th diamond makes this a no brainer

The sixth spade makes it a slam dunk.

Glad it was so automatic. Alas you go 3 off against a non-making 4H, since RHO has a flat 12 count and partner has Q10xx of hearts and not much more besides.

This hand is one reason why we play Precision. If we can be sure they have a ten-card heart fit, 4 is likely to be a make of a good save, depending on the high card position. But if an eight-card fit on a "game but no slam" hand is possible, you just have to guess and hope you guess right. By the way, it has always been our practice in my Precision partnerships to alert the game raise, so the opponents are sure to know the guess they are facing.

So, we pay off to RHO who had neither a game bid within precision nor an extra-trumps preempt. That will happen.
