I wanted to find out how many hands I've played over the years with my regular partner, but BBO hand records seem to disappear from http://bridgebase.co...hands/index.php after a couple months. Does that data exist somewhere, and can I get access to it?

Funny, I was just about to make a post suggesting that BBO introduce this feature. Not specifically permanent hand records but user stats:

How many hands have I played? With a specific partner? How many times have I declared/been dummy/defended?

Even better, in addition: what is my most common contract, average HCP count etc. Would be fun to see.

Current location of the data has limited space, so most current data is kept there.

Older records are kept somewhere else, but there is no public access to them at this time.
