This talk by Dr Vandaya Shiva was when she was given the 2010 Sydney Peace Prize. I couldn't find a link which included ONLY her talk, so there is an intro at the beginning.It's a bit long but very much worth listening to.

Well, for starters, I am looking at the diagram on the first link and having some doubts about this guy's claims already.

Skimming through the long report, I am not getting a very good idea of how the comparisons are being made. Feel free to correct me if you've read it in detail and found something I've missed.

I think the jury is still out, though I always keep in the back of my mind something I read a few years back about the complexities of the interconnectedness of genes, and how gene modification then was like introducing rabbits to Australia.
