Please try to start a new thread per report.

Please refrain from using offensive language here.

Do understand that this is a public (moderated) forum - any BBFer can see and reply to your post and give their opinion too. Not everyone wil share your opinion about what constitutes a GIB bug.

This is not for venting against GIB. Bug reports here are meant to help the developers improve GIB and make it play better.

Since AriGreen is handling GIB, why not "Export Deal" to him when it happens with a note explaining the idiocy.

Is this in response to something?
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I'm sure it's somehow related to the Boy Who Cried Wolf fable but I haven't worked out exactly how.

When I see idiotic robot bidding, I don't see "send robot report" anywhere in the browser, eg, when using robots for bidding practice, or other robotic situations.

Perhaps you could enlighten me as to where "sent robot report" is hiding?

tOM

Developer might want to check this out - 1C-P-1S-X 1NT Gib showed this as 18-19 balanced. I agree free 1NT should not be 12 or bad 13 but WHO plays this 1NT as 18-19?

welcome to the forums. It says at the top to make a new topic for every "bug". There has been discussion on the forums about this before, and there was some support for it being 18-19. The idea being you pass with 12-14 balanced.

too much to do should be a report robot button to press as they make more errors than I have had hot dinners :)

When you're looking at the hand, there is an "Export deal" button. One of the choices you're then given is "Send robot report". This sends the report to the development staff, but doesn't post it here in the forum. Then, you can microwave a tv dinner.

Hi Rain,

I am a older lady who hates computers and is not comfortable with them. I was once told by BarMar that the forum was the avenue to report Gib problems. Now I am told by Mr. Bradley that I should use Export Deal and then send robot report. Is this correct? Then where do I find Export Deal? I do not necessarily want to institute discussions, just report clitches. I have a recent one and now don't know where to report it.

Thanks, Joeydinky

Hi, I agree completely. I don't understand half of what you are telling me to do and half of the terminology you all use. A simple button would be greatly appreciated. Joeydinky
