I believe that the USA currently hold only the World Championship For People Who Still Bid Like Your Auntie Gladys - dburn
dunno how to play 4 card majors - JLOGIC
True but I know Standard American and what better reason could I have for playing Precision? - Hideous Hog

Hmm that's tough. There are minimums like KJxxx AJxx x Axx that make it good or Kxx AKxxx x Axxx that make it bad. We could even be missing 2 aces if partner has more of a major orientated hand like KJTx AKJxx x Jxx so I think I'll buy to the preempt and just bid 5♣. Who knows, maybe partner can be 5512 as well.
As to 4NT, I don't actually have a specific agreement but would probably play it as natural.

4NT qould be natural IMO.
I bid only 5♣ because I expect my partner to have a very similar distribution o mine with no source of tricks, since he might had picked to bid 5M if he had a good 5 card major.

Partner asking a zippo to bid 4-level and I have D-single +AQ+KQ? 4NT alerts partner to slam somewhere; can you bid 6M/6C? Or not with 5M/5C.

Hi,
for us 4NT would not be natural, and it would not be
Blackwood.
We play it either as 2 places or as good bad, since
2 places does not make sense, it would be good bad.
Since we play, that the stronger hands go via 4NT,
I have an easy 4NT, partner will bid 5C if he has nothing
more to add, which I would pass.
With kind regards
