I was South, and started fuming at my partner for taking me to an unmakeable game. Oh well, at least he talked West out of a spade lead...
Trying to minimize the damage, still not realizing that East is out of clubs, I lead a small heart to the dummy's queen. It works! The logical way back to my hand is via diamonds, East ducks and there's my second break... West has a void. Only now counting the clubs, I realize that the defenders are badly misfit, with no way to each other except in the suit that they fear most, spades. And, provided West cooperates and keeps trying to establish his worthless clubs, all four suits are finessing in my favor.
Heart again to dummy, and this times West puts down the king. Small club return, won by... dummy's 7. The rest is history, I win 1 spade, 3 heart, 2 diamond and 4 club tricks for 1 over.
Just wanted to share that with you. It's not often you need incredible luck and bad defending to make a contract it, and get both.
