I don't know what to say about this. Topics like this make me think they should give you ratings based on imps/mps against other players.

I would be interested in the play though. I'd guess, won the club, ruff a club, heart to the A, ruff a second club, heart to the K, spade king playing low, now he has an inescapable diamond loser.

I don't think this is the worst played hand of all time. But it may be in a 5,000,000 way tie for worst.

declarer ruffed two clubs and didn't realize that if he did THAT after pulling trump and played a spade to hand he only had 12 tricks and not 14.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

So what did dummy say? "wdo"?
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

Ya there really only is one line to go down in this hand. K spades, 2 club roughs, draw trump :P

Or maybe declarer ducked a club to rectify the count? Expert I tell ya.. expert.

I doubt highly that this was actually the worst, although the line has not yet been stated.

As an example, I have heard of a declarer cross-ruffing with high trumps (completely unnecessarily) to end up with the equivalent of 3 opposite 2, only to ultimately allow the opponents to take three tricks by cross-ruff with the 6-5-4 on a hand where the deal is laydown for 13 tricks.

I also know of a hand where a Defender had KJxxx in trumps behind the Ace-fifth in Declarer's hand, but took no trump tricks, despite dummy being used to ruff an early trick.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
