IMP Scoring, Red against White
(Does this affect your decision? If it does, write what you'd bid at MP scoring or different colors. IMO, this is a harder problem NV.)
♠KT ♥JT9x ♦AKQTx ♣AJ
You open 1♦ and it proceeds
1♦ - 1♠ - P - P
x - 2♠ - P - P
?
Edit: D'oh, gave one too many clubs.

Easy Pass.
Partner heard us double the first time and chose to pass (twice).
If more reasons are needed, doubleton ♠K sitting under the Spades is not good.

That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Hi,
playing IMPs, I would pass, and I guess
I would pass playing MP a well.
My partner would bid, and if he did, he
would double.
With kind regards
Marlowe

Pass, p is broke and has no great fit. Besides opps are nonvulnerable so even in the unlikely event that p makes the lucky decision to pass our double with his 4324, one down doubled will not protect our partscore anyway.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket
