Last night while trying to have a serious practise, we were getting vugraph announcements it seemed like every minute. An option to ignore messages from vugraph would be very nice.

Try this:

Log in and click the Options button on the toolbar (it looks like a yellow gear). Then click the Chat tab in the window that appears. Then uncheck the box near the bottom that says "Notify me through chat when a vugraph match starts". Then click the OK button.

Thanks Fred... it wasn't so much the start announcements, rather the continual apologies from the commentators about the connection problems... will this suppress those also?

I don't think you can ignore these broadcast messages.

However, they don't happen very often. The European Championships were having extreme connection problems, causing them to drop out every few minutes. But this is very rare -- you were just unlucky to be trying to practice when it happened.

I think a nice feature would be to be able to ignore every announcement (except the fire alarm, for Health and safety reasons) when you set up a table for all 4 players
