".... sure did have a bidding problem...when vul versus not, I held......Qxx, Txxx, AQT, xxx , and it went 2H X Pass ??....."

One of my partner's had this problem at Mp last night, your choice? You are playing Lebensohl so a natural 2nt bid here is out.

Not uncommon. 2S seems the least of all evils.

I agree completely. At least with 2 you have chance to play on the 2 level, which can't be said about any other bid. Also the defense often blows a trick since they don't know you have this.

I think passing is a very bad action, but a very good swinging action if you are way down since it will occasionally gain big.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Pass was my first instinct, but then I noticed the board rates to be about 20-20 and opps seem to have 6 top tricks with 10 hcp still to spare.

2 then. Pass is ok, but gambles on pard having a non-min dbl with a trump trick.

Yeah 2. All other actions are just sick.

Pass is an invitation to -670, unless we are playing Weiss doubles or something like that.

2 seems clear.

I'd not expect them to make 10 tricks, Phil.
We were vul opps were not... :P

Completely agree that 2 is the obvious call.
Kind regards,
