I don't mind getting gifts in Challenge a ROBOT but this one should be looked at by GIB or GIBBO developers.

no interference - 2NT-3NT. West on lead had AKQXX of hearts and did not lead from that suit.

Just a hole in the system. With AKQxxx, GIB would have led the normal 4th best.

NT leads seem unusual. Recently, in 3NT, robot lead a singleton spade when the traditional lead of fourth in best/longest suit would have set the contract. Like you, I appreciate the gift, but it does leave me puzzled at times. I'm not sure if computer simulations show lead from singleton is better in NT rather than traditional fourth in best/longest suit, or whether it is a glitch in the program. Best regards.

In one previous Olympic cycle, GiB was "fixed" to lead according to Bird & Anthias, although that was supposed to have been reverted to traditional leads in the cycle that just terminated.
