I played a TG tonight with a very good local player, first time playing and I messed up defence on one hand where he gave count and I blindly thought it was attitude.
Which explains some other carding confusion I had. -11 imp , but we still won the match.
I lead
♦4 - 10 - 2
So, partner was showing an even number of diamonds, quite obviously not attitude.
At a very basic level is count given when partner is leading against nt and partner cannot cover dummy?
What about against a suit contract?
thanks
