Another one of his BELOVED doubleton leads by the GIBBO sap in the West. Then when he wins his spade king, LOOKING at the K7 dub of clubs in dummy and LOOKING at the QJ of clubs in his own hand, the twit plays another diamond.

Yeah right, Mr. West: WHATEVER you do, don't EVER lead your queen of clubs. It would be WAY too "dangerous" for you, I suppose.

No WONDER these rejects keep "earning" themselves bad scores.

Fairly flat, unexceptional board. We scored 53.6 % for bidding 2NT and making an overtrick.

So why am I even bothering to post it if it's "fairly flat" and "unexceptional"?

One simple reason: To show that on almost all hands - even including the boring, mundane, unexceptional ones - the GIBBO robots find a way to do SOMETHING wrong, something that often goes unnoticed in a boring, unextraordinary hand. Here, for example, note that the clueless and characteristically dimwitted GIBBO robot in the West cannot even return the correct heart at trick two. The imbecile, after winning trick one with his heart king, correctly plays a second heart at trick two. Given his extremely limited "intelligence", I'm even surprised he got that right! But the M.O.R.O.N. had only two hearts to choose from (the 8 and the 6) and because he's a GIBBO robot (one of the absolutely worst "bridge players" of ALL time), he couldn't even manage to return the correct one. The doofus played back the 6 instead of the 8.

I'll use a line I've used before: A blind chimpanzee would have had a fifty percent chance of returning the 8, but this pathetic GIBBO robot, a supposed "intelligent bridgeplayer" (sic!) couldn't do it even LOOKING at his cards. The GIBBO robots are truly abysmal at all facets of the game.

South opens 1D and later doubles East's 3D, showing, as per the GIB definition, "rebiddable diamonds"; KQ of diamonds", meaning the equivalent of KQ or better in terms of diamond quality. North ends up on lead against West's 4S. North has Q743, 97, J42, KQ74. Does he lead - maybe - a DIAMOND? HELL, NO! Why would he EVER lead a DIAMOND - a suit where he KNOWS his partner has good diamonds, a suit where he is LOOKING at the jack in his own hand, and on a hand where he has FOUR trumps to the queen? Why would he EVER lead a DIAMOND, considering that he belongs to that foul, disgusting, useless species known as GIBBO robots - you know, the imbeciles who HATE to lead their partner's suit?

Well, yeah, it does look unfathomably stupid not to lead a diamond, but hey, at least he has a not-SO-bad lead of the club king. At least he led THAT, right?

Wrong: The piece of dirt led the 9 of hearts from his worthless 97 doubleton.

Oh, why did he make such a REMARKABLY stupid lead? Answer: Precisely because he is a GIBBO robot, the lowest of the low, the SLIME of the bridge world.

Totally disgusted, I decided to further test the limits of the droke's stupidity, so later in the hand, QUITE willing to self-sacrifice (as I no longer CARED about this board), I played the QUEEN of hearts from my remaning QJ as a scientific experiment to see if he would FURTHER demonstrate his world-class ineptitude by ruffing the third heart. As I expected, he did, thereby confirming my already SOLID belief that the GIBBO robots are nothing but total garbage that should long ago have been buried in a gravel pit and replaced by robots with at least a TINY bit of ability.

Although the board was a near-bottom (not exactly a shock!), the experiment was a huge success. I have long felt nothing but contempt for the GIB and GIBBO robots, and I felt that my opinion of them could not possibly sink lower. However, this hand and this successful experiment proved me wrong, because against all odds, it DID sink lower. I thought it was already at the bottom, but it got even worse. My vocabulary is not strong enough to fully describe the revulsion I feel towards these useless pieces of trash. When, when. WHEN will they be thrown out and replaced? When will BBO users and customers be granted the privilege of playing with and against DECENT robots? If and when that ever occurs, I am confident that it will also be to BBO's benefit, as it should certainly cause existing customers to stay and new ones to join.

BTW, on this SAME hand, look at the stunningly stupid GIB definition of West's redouble: "5+ spades; 17- HCP; 13-19 total points; forcing to 3S". In the context of this particular auction so far, this typically pitiful GIB definition says NOTHING useful. West's hand is KJ986, K106, 753, A6. He has ALREADY overcalled South's 1D opening with 1S red against white with his mere (in context) eleven HCP, with a hand as flat as it could possibly be (given his 1S overcall) of 5-3-3-2, including three little DIAMONDS, so what on EARTH is his "LOGIC" for REDOUBLING (!!!) 3D (an action obviously recommended and encouraged by the pathetic GIB definition and the hopeless, antiquated, piece of garbage that is the GIBBO system)?

Please throw out the GIB definitions, throw out the GIBBO system, and throw out the GIBBO robots.

Yet ANOTHER totally witless lead by a typically hopeless GIBBO robot. This time it's West. This foul trout thinks it's a BRILLIANT idea to lead his queen of CLUBS from Q7 doubleton despite KNOWING that it's North's second suit. Spoiler alert: It was actually NOT a good lead. Who could EVER have guessed?
