Major game for NS, Club slam for EW :)
14 tables, 3 pairs sitting NS managed to steal the hand in spades, the rest were played by EW

Dealer South, EW Vulnerable

A wild deal! Any of a number of auctions could happen, depending on style.
Over here the South hand is considered a somewhat aggressive but not crazy 2 opening at these colours. I think that would lead to something like
2-(P)-4-X;
P-(5)-P-???

If South doesn't open though we might get
P-(2)-4*-???
with 4 Leaping Michaels.
Some Wests might open 4 or even 3, and now I suspect East might push to 6!

And if we have the slow auction
P-(P)-1?-(X);
P-(3)-4-???
Some Norths might well preempt instead on this start.

What a fun deal!

Such Global differences in this game. 2 would be a clear psyche here, the Director would be called.

3-9 5+ cards is far from the worst weak 2 I've agreed to play (it is what I currently play in my multi), 0-9 4+ cards is what I used to play as a straight weak 2 before it was made illegal.

I alert playing such weak 2's ("aggressive, frequently a five card suit"). It's technically not alertable here, but there's little harm in disclosing what information I have about my partner's opening that my opponents might not have. I'd imagine at worst this is an unusual way to play these openings, but never a psyche.

Technically alertable here, but so long as you do, no problem (if you don't, it depends upon the TD you encounter, to me this is at best a psyche).

Here the most likely scenario would be 2 from West (some would pass), then leaping Michaels and all hell breaks loose :)
I'm mildly surprised that nobody stole it in diamonds rather than spades.

I was thinking what do I do with the north hand if it goes 2(multi)-P and I think pass then decide whether to bid as load of spades is fun, you get woken up when partner bids 3 over a double, and now EW are quite likely to play in hearts and you have to decide how high to let them play
