The GIB robots very often stupidly play third hand LOW and also very often stupidly play second hand HIGH. Although there ARE occasions where those plays can be correct, the incompetent GIB robots usually do it when it is a poor and often utterly ridiculous play. This is quite consistent with the ineptitude they regularly exhibit in just about every facet of the game. BBO, please get better robots, because GIB is hopelessly bad.

Yes, the third hand low is a bit of a problem which appeared in the new version.
I am aware of it and will fix it, just didn't completely get to the bottom of it yet.

Trick 6

Double dummy I had already given up on defensive trick by discarding a small heart but we had Ace and King of hearts and the North bot gave that trick up on trick 6

I accept a bit off topic since this is 4th hand plays low - followed by second hand plays high

Edit srictly double dummy playing low on trick 6 did not give up the trick but playing the King against my Ace a trick or two later did

I am sure it is my fault somehow, like opneing 2 spades instead of 1 spade
