Did the sound options in Account->Settings change at some point in the recent past on the web client?

I currently see one option: 'Sounds effects on'

I'm sure that there used to be another section which provided more fine control. I don't want a swish every time a card is played, but would like a sound alert for private chats.

There was finer control on the original Windows client (what we call "v1"). I don't think there were any detailed controls on the Flash client (v2) and nothing has changed in the current HTML/JavaScript client (v3).

It did change, but the ability to customize sound effects is still there.
Scroll down further and you will find a section "Sound" which enables fine control of Shuffle/Card played/Private chat/Invite/New Round/TD call.

Thanks, just needed a little confidence that it had not changed.

After recent lens replacement treatment, I had changed the Chrome zoom from 80% to 100%. This caused the sound settings not to be displayed, even when I scrolled down.

Setting the zoom back shows them again.
