A few people understood 3h as stopper and safe to bid NT

Most of us stuck in 4D

I would be surprised if 3!H explicitly promised a Heart stopper.

Particularly as the explanation supplied to opponents makes no mention of hearts.

Why it couldn't just bid 3D is a mystery, then we can bid 3H asking for a stopper.

I just think it is remarkable that 3NT makes up against that hand lol
I was happy in 4D

It's far from impossible and I would not crucify a partner who closed his eyes and bid 3NT over 2, especially vulnerable at IMPs.
But I would be worried about Opener's rebid of 2 looking at my Ace... suggests hearts are 6322 with 6+ HCP in other suits, not necessarily spades.

3H is an (huge) overbid, the double is known to be reopening, i.e. below opening strength
is not unusual, what am I supposed to do on the 4 level?
With kind regards
