Pass at this vulnerability. Suit is too poor and I have too few points so there is no urgency to act.

Its MPs. Just one board. Decision is close. It all depend on how the rest of the MP evening had been going imo. With 8 losing tricks and unsupported honours I would pass 95% of the time.

I like my partners too much

Reverse my majors and I’d probably overcall since I can later, if appropriate, show hearts. Bid hearts and we probably never find spades….if we’re 4-4.

Put that club queen into hearts, and I’d bid. But I’d not like it, red.

If I would be green, I would consider a Michaels, assuming it showed both majors,
since I am red ..., I am saved by the vulnerability.

If I was going to overcall, I would overcall 2♥ (warped WJO) which I suspect does not get penalised (partner won't raise with our style of jumps)

I guess you were not the only one, right?
I’d really like to pass (the honor structure is definitely not great at red) but nowadays at club level I’d fear being out of the field by passing!

I am not sure, I would have found the Pass with the West Hand.
But than I would have opened Diamonds instead of Clubs and played 3D.
