Daylong points

In yesterday's daylong as a C player I was 3rdA 1stB and 1stC with 61% in section 29 earning .53MP. Another C player in section 29 was 7thA 4thB and 3rdC with 54% but earned .67MP. Why does a lower ranked C player earn more points. Are there stratifications within the stratification???

I think basic GIBs are in flight D, and advanced GIBs are in flight C.

Was this an ACBL Daylong?

They have something called "metasections" that's used for awarding overall awards. See
