My partner want to practice bidding and then playing hands against robots. RThe bidding part works fine but after that --- NOTHING. Can't Practice hands be played?

You are in a bidding practice room which is where you can practise bidding. They are not play tables.

If you want to play against robots, then you need to open a table in the Relaxed or Main Bridge Club and seat the robots in the opposing seats. However you will not have the same control of the hands dealt at such a table.

The alternative is to open a teaching table, where you can place robots and control the hands dealt, but you will not get comparative scores. You will also need to set the table options so that the host cannot see all four hands.

Robots are only free at the bidding practice tables; you will need to rent them at the other tables.
