Congrats Povratnik

Thanks, the result is really incredible! If there was about 4th place instead of the 1st, it would be a miracle for me and a tragedy for you. This way, it was only a symbolic storm in a glass of water...
I'd actually prefer a 16 IMPs loss (to 16 IMPs win), but to somehow get back those 32 IMPs later :D. Winning a league phase and possibly finish at fourth place is far from optimal in my book...

Thus the age-old debate of whether sports leagues should have playoffs or not :)

Perhaps the higher seeds should receive some sort of IMP head-start as a type of 'home advantage'.

I'm not saying the system is unfair. On the contrary - you should change nothing in the tournament rules.

I was just overwhelmed by the uselessness of being blessed by a miracle when you don't need it. In many past and future situations - I'll need just a tiny grain of luck and fail to get it... (Maybe at this very tournament!)

Oops, sorry, yes. Good luck to the semifinalists - as usual let's aim for about a week per match.

4 challenges of 16 boards each, same format. If an unlikely tie at the end, an additional 8 boards.

(1 vs 4, 2 vs 3).
