Yep, perhaps I'm being unrealistic... feel free to tell me as much, but I think it should be possible to reach 6C here?

Matchpoints, you're vul, they're not

System is weak NT with 5cM.

Our auction was 1C-1S; 2H-3D*; 4C-4S and I then had to consider that it's matchpoints and 620/650 scores better than 600 (stupid game, MPs), so I passed. At teams I would of course bid 5C and I guess partner might well then raise to 6.

Bonus puzzle for I/A: how to play 4S on the lead of D4 (4th, top from rubbish) to the 10 and Q?

I doubt that we are getting anywhere close to 6.

North has a tricky rebid. In our methods, I would not be strong enough to reverse with the North cards when partner bids my singleton spade. I think I would bid 2 with quite a bit in reserve. Partner will bid 2 (forcing) then I guess it's 2 (4th suit, forcing to game) and 2.

The mis-fit is clear and I'm sure we will stop in game - but if I'm honest I don't know which one!

North lacks the values to reverse into hearts and knows there is no majors fit, so he shows his long and semi-solid clubs (with no reserve). Now the only risk is that South is bone-headed enough to bid 3, but he should be thinking hard about why partner would bid like that and decide that slam is worth investigating in clubs:

1 1
3 4 (RKCB)
5 (2+Q) 6
