Beautiful. GIB fails to ruff the opening lead when able against a grand slam! This is an error I have yet to see a human beginner make in the forty years I've played this game.

As to replying to "No trumps, partner?" the only reply I can think of is "Sorry. I thought the opponents were in 7NT. Silly me!"

Stranger challenge so no, but this can't possibly be something related to not enough simulations, so I expect the bug would have affected both.
