Hand play Double Dummy

North:K3/Q95/Q8532/KJ8 East:-Q10987/K103/K/Q753 South:-A52/A42/A1097/A42 West:-J64/J876/J64/1096 Contract:-6NT by south.West LeadsH-6 Any solution possible?

If you click on the GIB button, you will see that it should go off on a non-club lead. If you can see both hands, your best bet would be to play low after which the contract can be made unless East lets the 6 run.

I would however be asking why you are anywhere near 6NT with a balanced 11 count opposite a balanced 16 count.

Well spotted, manudude03. If East squanders a honour on his partner's 6 lead, then Gib demonstrates a successful double-dummy line: Declarer can set up a trick and reduce to the 5-card ending on the left.

Declarer discards a on dummy's last , executing a double-squeeze in the black-suits.
- East must discard a or the Q will drop.
- West must discard a or the 5 will be good.
Now declarer leads dummy's J to pin LHOs T9 and set up dummy's 8.
