I know nothing about Python but who needs a brain when we have Gemini? So I asked Gemini a few general questions on how to use sympy to combine promises across "myself" and "partner". Other than generating the code I needed, Gemini made this observation:

This is a great structure for a research project! It sounds like you are modeling a game or a multi-agent system (like Bridge or a coordinated ML simulation) where different "seats" have different constraints.

So Gemini had guessed that it was about Bridge. And later:

A Quick Tip on Naming
In research code, "LHO" and "RHO" usually stand for Left Hand Opponent and Right Hand Opponent. If your hobbyist friends aren't familiar with card game notation, you might want to add a comment in your code explaining those terms!

It used to be the case that you couldn't get good advice from LMM tools on bridge because the bridge corpus was too small. But now it guesses that my project is about bridge even before I use any bridge lingo other than the word "partner".

Very nice! I've personally got a bunch of python experience and I'd love to contribute if you're open to that.

Regarding Gemini, it might be a bit sneaky. I'm not sure how many Google products you normally use, but Gemini might have access to more files than just your running project. It would not surprise me if it was able to find solid evidence of you playing bridge even from for example our Google drive with system notes, though I don't know if Gemini has access to that (but I assume so).

That's a good point. When I asked gemini what it thinks i will be doing next sunday it said that normally i would be going for a forest walk but given the weather forecast i am more likely to play bridge. So obviously it knows that. Ot didn’t quote our system book as a source but it did quote my bbf profile.

More seriously I want to make an ecosystem for bidding sims, something like what the swedish professor did.
