W is an unknown quantity. E is on the U20s, so can be trusted not to have his bid. Even after their bidding, I suspect slam is still an excellent prospect. But can we plausibly reach it? If so, who should have done more?

Possible that N should double 4C, he can stand playing in any suit that is not clubs - although I think 4H is straight forward.
As for south - well he should be worth a slam invite, HA and the spade points are good.

Also I think U20 not having his bid is a somewhat of an understatement, I mean I trust you to not have your bids as well

South can also raise 4H to 5H, but this is always a matter how light could
the 4H bid be.

if the south hand had been KQxxx Axx xx xxx would anyone have a problem bidding at least 5h? The bidding has pinpointed N as being short in clubs and they were willing (under pressure) to at least try 4h (missing the ace) vul. The 4c bid generally shows a weak hand further increasing the probability N has a pretty decent hand. Everyone can act when they have shortness why is it so hard to act when we know partner has undisclosed shortness???? I voted for take action over 4h but one action i would avoid is 5c which will normally be discouraging to partner rather than encouraging:)))

After preemptive bid & raise ,it is extremely difficult to show strength & strain due to shortness of space.Though it is fraught with danger,for adventurous North 4NT may be an appropriate bid to describe his hand.
