Gib led me astray(2)

After 2♥,Gib jump bid 4♦,and 4♦ says "5+♦,20-TPs" !!! I have 18hcp,can I pass?
So I cuebid 4♥,hoping that I will pass if Gib bid 4♠,but strangely,4♥ says " cuebid,rebiddable ♦,♦KQ,♥A,31+TPs" !!!
Then Gib cuebid 5♥ and says " ♥K,4-20TPs" !!!
I have to rebid 6♦,but Gib bid up to 7♦ !!!
Oh,my god,who know why Gib led me astray?

I think any bid that shows 30+ points should be taken out of Gibs programming except where 2♣ was opened by that player. It's just silly to think someone has 31 pts when there was a 1N opening by opponents.
