3♠. I don't think NMF applies when you also play Wolff, especially since it wouldn't be possible if the opening bid had been 1♦.

John Matheson is trying to teach me a version of Wolff where, with 4 ♥s and 4 ♠s, responder would rebid 3♣ to puppet 3♦ and continue with the "impossible" 3N to show 4-4 in the majors.

• 3♦ = NAT. FG.
• 3♥ = NAT. FG. 5+ ♥s. May have 4♠s.
• 3♠ = NAT. Slam-try 4-4 in Ms.

• 4m = SPL. Short m with good ♥.
• 4♥ = NAT. S/O. To play.

2N - 3♣ -
3♦ - ??

• 3♥ = NAT. S/O. To play.
• 3♠ = NAT. Slam-try. 5+ ♥s, 4+ ♠s.

3D checkback

The way I was taught Wolff was
- 3C puppets to 3D, either to sign off in 3 of a suit or a slam try in opener's minor
- 3D asking for 3-card support or 4 cards in the other major
- 3 own major forcing with 6
- 3 other major slam try in other minor

But I wouldn't agree to play Wolff without agreeing the followups.
Yesterday I played with an expert I play rarely with. He said 'Wolff sign-off over 2NT?' and I said 'No, no-one ever grees on the continuations, just play natural and forcing' to which he agreed.

Depends. For some, 3♠ shows 4-4 Majors GF. For others, 4-4 is shown by NMF 3♦ first asking partner for 4♥, 4♠, 3♥ in that priority order. This will right side ♠. 3♦ is always NMF regardless which minor opener started with. Be sure to discuss this.
