1♦ and if W bids 1N, rebid 2♦.
If W rebids 2♣ pass
If W rebids 1♠ then 2♠
if W rebids 1♥ 2♦
If W rebids 2♣ pass
If W rebids 1♠ then 2♠
if W rebids 1♥ 2♦

You have to agree with partner weather he will always show a major suit if you respond 1d. If so, 1d is right.
If partner will rebid 1nt with all weak balanced hands, even if he has a four card major, you have to respond 1s with this hand

Hi,
1D.
Since we are a passed hand, and since this is our 2nd bid,
I give partner max. room.
Even if he would bypass spades to show a weak bal. hand, this
will lead to a sensible contract, only downside I may play it,
but this may be plus in your partnership.
Playing MP loosing the spade suit may be terrible, not so playing
IMPs.
If we have game and spade fit, we will find it.
This would be a lot harder being an unpassed hand, in which case
I am 50/50.
With kind regards
Marlowe
