The meaning of the auction was unclear, but it was thought South showed an invitational hand with 4-4 in the majors. East led the two of hearts, low from odd, I think, and West plays the nine. You win the ace, finesse the club, and it holds. Over to you.

Again can't see any cunning play. So try dicing with death: ♥K, finesse ♣, ♥A, finesse ♣, ♦ to ♦K, ♣A
This time you go down, as the diamond ace is offside and the third club is ruffed and they promote the king of spades with a third diamond. The winning line was to finesse the club, and finesse the queen of spades, and cash the ace, as chosen in the other room. Now you lose two diamonds and a trump. Bakhshi played a diamond to the king at trick two, the defence exited with a club (East started with Kx) and now Bakhshi played a second diamond but the defence could ruff that (West had a singleton), ruff a club and promote the king of spades. I thought these two were interesting in that the simple line (drawing trumps) was right in both. I am sure both would be made by someone after a few pints at the Young Chelsea on a Friday night!
A little lager is a dangerous thing;
drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring:
there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
and drinking largely sobers us again. - with apologies to Pope
