(I think this is right - feel free to correct)
Superflight:
1. JLogic / Jdonn Q'd (duh).
2. CSGibson's did too
3. Clee (did). (Edited, thanks).
We are piking it in the A's. Had a slow start with 31 after 4 but picked up our game in the afternoon and finished 8th with 88. We play a tough LA team tomorrow who finished 9th (Einberg and assorted bridge genii), so its the battle of Southern California.

That's some high expectations for Clee, he qualifies in second place and you don't even notice he qualified at all! I recommend the powers of control+f on the keyboard when checking results or maybe the problem is you searched for "Clee" hahaha.

My intel was a quick "how did you do"?
My response was, "uh, eh".

And with that line of questioning, you confirmed that Clee is alive. Good info to have.

We got a pretty brutal draw, top 4 get to pick their opps from the bottom 8, then 5-8 are shuffled, and the remaining bottom 4 are shuffled. Unfortunately we just missed the top 4 (heard it was by 2 VPs). Then we got shuffled into playing the toughest team from the bottom 8 (Chicago team including Ralph Katz, Nik Demirev, Steve Garner), and we were shuffled into 8th so if we win today we play one of the best teams in the event in the R8 (new york including wooldridge/hurd, lev and glubok).
Oh well, nothing to do about it but win 2 tough matches in the R16 and R8! This is definitely the strongest I've seen the GNT field in a long time.

We got a tough draw too, in my opinion, having gotten the H. Lall-Chorush-Bramley-Compton Texas squad, though we deserved it after finishing 13. They crushed us like a bug, and I was really impressed not only with their card play, but also with their table demeanor. Though I guess its easier to seem jolly when you are not sweating the result.
