Strange 3S bid

For some reason, they bid spades, even though they didn't have very many, and I see no reason why they couldn't have bid NT. The 3S bid showed more spades than south really had.

Thanks for reporting.

It has been a bug, which is fixed in the new update.

The issue here is the 2♣ which was wrongly taken as cuebid and showing 4+♠. That's why South gear up to 3♠.

South now will be able to bid just 2♦ "knowing" it's just clubs instead of fit in spades and that looks to be the final contract very likely.
