Is this correct?

In former times (begin of 2012) the winner of a robot tourney got 0.80 BBO masterpoints.
This seems to be reduced to 0.60 - but I saw no notification of this.

This was an ACBL change, not ours. We announced it in December. See http://webutil.bridg...tch.php?id=910. Specifically, it said:

12 board games, like the ones we run here, will award 60% of the full award (down from the current 80%).

What we didn't mention, though, is that we use the same formula for BBO masterpoints as ACBL masterpoints, so the BBO points got reduced as well. Sorry for the confusion.

We recently started offering 18 board human-only tournaments to make up for this change. Longer robot tourneys are coming soon.

How about robot tourneys where one can actually break even with a 55% average? :(
