My choice is of course Fernando Torres, because he is the only real footballer among all these handegg players Posted Image

Ball: A ball is a round, usually spherical but sometimes ovoid, object with various uses.
Egg: An egg is an organic vessel in which an embryo first begins to develop.

I can see why he would get them confused, though.

Great, we get to watch a game not between winners but between the two teams that didn't lose. Yawn.

Anyone been following the lines? Pats opened -3.5 and it moved quickly to -3. If they announce Gronk is sitting for the game, is there any chance it moves to -2.5?

Actually ESPN now has the pats -2.5 and the o/u is still 55. Many are saying the over is free money, but i think it'll be under.

The last time the line moved a whole point in the SB the sportsbooks got middled, which is why i thought they'd be reluctant to let such a thing happen again.

This is not even just a point. It's fully crossed from 3.5 to 2.5. That is basically EPIC and completely unheard of. I think Chris Hamman told me something like 8 % of games are won by 3, so 3 is a huge number to go all the way across. Passell mentioned at this regional that this is the most money ever bet on one team in the first 4 days of a superbowl (Giants). I guess obviously if it crossed 3.5 but wow.

That would be the best middle of all time.

I think I read over 70% of ML bets are on the Giants. If the Giants win outright it sounds like the books are gonna get crushed.

If we could rewind a week and a half with the knowledge we have now I wonder what the line would be.

Also it's pretty ridiculous how virtually no one is giving the Pats a chance in this game. Pretty much everyone on Sportscenter and similar sports media have the Giants winning outright. One media guy, Colin Cowherd I think, thought the line should be like Giants -7.5 originally. Just ridiculous the difference between the public perception and Vegas, and the Pats had the second best record in the league while the Giants went 9-7 and lost to the redskins twice, philly, and seattle.

Maybe I'm the only one super excited about this game, but I'm a big Pats fan so I guess I have some invested interest in everything going on, but all the speculation about who is going to win is really fascinating.

Bought wings, brats, and nachos and guac stuff yesterday as well as lots of alcohols. Gonna have a bunch of people over, and they canceled our 10AM class on Monday and moved it to 1PM. Let's goooooooooooooooooooo
