Clicking on links - always brings up internet explorer

Whenever you click on a link from the BBO software, it always opens up internet explorer. As an avid Chrome user, could it be set so it automatically opens in our default browser?

Just set Chrome as your default browser.

I'm guessing he's already done that. By default, BBO uses its embedded browser, which is IE.

I think if you edit your BBOVER.INI file, and change

BROWSER_TYPE=C

to

BROWSER_TYPE=E

it will use an external browser, following your configured default.

This is surprising, because to me it always opens in FF (my default) and I never did the step you recommend.

You probably use the web version. Barmar's instructions apply for the downloadable windows version.

News opens IE and Upcoming Broadcast event opens Firefox for me.
