Red vs Red, imp pairs, you get as dealer:

KJT52
A9

You can resist opening, and it goes:

1-1N-2-3
???

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

Assume you meant "can't resist opening", since you opened. 2S was not forcing, and not constructive. I want to do something which will discourage pard from bidding more spades. Did 3C show some strength (vs. Leben)?

I think I will try 3D (shudder), and hope to survive CHO and the opponents. I think partner will know this is not a 50 point deck.

I would pass, we might have a huge diamond fit and make 5D or need a diamond lead to beat 3N but I am too scared to bid here, it is a very dangerous spot.

I would pass. This is not a sensible or safe situation in which to bid.
