Hi all

If you have watched Vugraph from BBO recently,
please take a look into your
c:/BridgeBaseOnline folder (not the /hands subfolder,
where our own hand records are stored, one level
higher).

There you *may* find a file named vglog.linx and if
you open it with Fred's viewer you'll see the vugraph
session that you watched (probably the most recent
of them, as I suspect that a file replaces earlier
versions).

If you do find such files, will you ***please*** send
a copy to me or message me?

TIA

hi

I have found 1 such file dated 03-05-23 18:07. If you do not have this one already, I can mail it to you.

I am wondering why I only found this single file, which I renamed early to give way to other files to appear. But though I watched nearly all of the Polish finals no other such file appeared. Maybe somebody can tell us what we must do to make the file appear.

In order to have them recorded, you must mark for this options
in your profile when on BBO site. There are several choises, and vulgraph is one of them 8)

(hope I have understand the question right ;D)

Rhutobello got it right.... to see if you have vugraph choosen click on your own name in the lobby... and look at the middle bottom of the screen. There are three options for logging files...
When playing
When kibitizing
During Vugraph

If the during vugraph is checked... you can find the hands in your "hands" directory. This is found in a subdirectory of your bridge base online directory labelled with the name you used to logon while you watched the vugraph

Hi !

Could someone send to me by email the 8/8 Segment of the Polish First Division 2003 Final (May 24th) ?

My email address : erikssn@wanadoo.fr

Thanks in advance

Erkson

PS : Many thanks and congratulations to Fred and his team for the wonderful BOL software. It is far better than the one used by my (French) Bridge Federation.

Hi Ruthobello and Inquiry,

thanks for your advice, but it appears to me that you are referring to the normal .lin files that are recorded whenever you play/kibitz/watch vuegraph if the respective option is selected. I have these files.

But when you watch the vuegraph and you are lucky, at the end of the vuegraph session an additional file vglog.linx is created. It is not located in the "hands" subdirectory, but in the top level directory of your BBO installation. It contains the data of both tables, the imps won and a nice "door" icon to change rooms for the current board.

This is the file Nikos was referring to. He told me that you get it if you have the movie open at the end of a vuegraph session. But I suspect that even then the file is not always generated.

Are you sure on this? I find one in my main dir which is Orbis 2000, but this one I think is coming with the program. You can also recive such files from sources like GIB, but I don't think they are made automatic from the BBO program itself.

Well, well, we have do hear Uday on this, I think 8)

Sorry we was no help ??? ;D ;D

The file sometimes gets left behind by accident. It is not being stored as a feature (at least not yet).

So, if you find the file - you are just lucky.

Sorry that the log files for vugraph usually
do not come out very well.

In the next version everyone who watches
a vugraph show will get a complete record
of all of the deals (at both tables if a team
match is being broadcast).

Well, I found that all the .linx files from the recent
Polish matches (8 segments of the final plus 6
from the semis) are to be found at
http://www.polbridge.pl/liga/liga2002_3/pi...rwsza/1liga.htm

Go there, then click on
BBO Rama
and you download a small zip file containing the .linx files

Hello,

Does anyone have the .linx files (or some of them) from the previous week's French Mixed Teams?

TIA
