Your methods:

* 2/1 GF
* After an 1m opening, partner responds with 5 HCP or any Ace
* 2C opening shows the classical SAYC strongest opening bid OR a weak 2 in

Your hand at teams (1st seat):

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do!

I'm not sure the second half of your poll works - I open 1D then bid 3NT; but if I opened 2C I would double next (showing a strong balanced hand)

I'd open 2 if I have the ability to show the 4-5 in the reds... Otherwise I think it's a clear 1. After 3 I'd Double (if I opened 2), otherwise bid 3N (1)
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

I like Gerben's gadget, and I've played it myself, but I don't consider this hand strong enough for the 3 rebid after 2.

Open 2 is a no brainer to me, the light 2C man... lol.

After 3 I might either dbl or bid 3, depending on how I think pard will interpret the follow ups.

Another possible strategy, not included in the list of options above, is to open 2 and then rebid 2NT.

I would also like to bid 2NT but LHO bid 3.

However I suspect 2 opening on this system includes some strong balanced hand that is suitable to open.
